Doesn't sound like you installed the new springs correctly. You should have no sound from the rear and if you do, you need to take it back apart. Its sounds to me like something didn't seat properly. It's a little tricky to get both sides in at the same time. I had help doing mine plus we had a jack on the rear axle to help as well.

Just re-measured mine and agree with swerv0428 27 1/4 front and rear.
Maybe if we had some pics it would help diagnose your problem.
Make sure the bump stops are well seated.

Smacked em a couple of times with the mallet to re-seat the springs under slight pressure and no moans. Thanks for the help.

Is there any difference between the SC and TC ss springs. I'm looking at buying a set of stock ss/SC springs off a guy on cobaltss.net and was wondering

Yes, the SS/SC springs are softer spring & drop it about 1-1/2"

the SS/TC springs are firmer & drop is about 1-1/4"

Sleeper, just a question for my knowledge is the green tag on cobalt ss rear spring suppose to match the gm part number or are they purposefully different?
