Eibach Pro kit
#2
Sorry to sound stupid but this does not make sence to me , the heavier car should drop more yes or no ? If this is the case then will the sportline kit only lower the HHR 1.5 and 1.8 ? Has anyone used the sportline kit and how did ya like it ?

I have the Eibach Pro's and they drop the HHR about what they claim. Great look and ride. I wouldn't go to low up in Canada with the snow. The Pro's get you low but not to low>

I own a suspension company and am not yet signed on as a vendor so excuse me while I hide the company name to follow the rules and follow the process. My HHR SS is lowered. We run Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 speed rated winter tires.
We had a bit of a drama when my 8 year old daughter broke her two upper front teeth on a Saturday a few weeks ago. We ended up driving to Chicago in terrible lake effect snow. Getting back on the deserted highway we faced a ramp with at least 18" drifted across and not a single tire track. Going slowly the SS front fascia made a great plow. I had to back up a couple of feet three or four times and slowly move forward. I was shocked that we were able to drive through it.
The gain in stability with a lowered vehicle on high quality winter tires made the HHR SS my choice over the AWD Pacifica with new all season tires. Dropped or not winter tires in the snow belt area are vastly superior to all season style tires and all the benefits you gain when lowering work just as well in the snow.
Btw, the Pediatric Dentist that opened his office on a frigid Sunday was nothing short of amazing. My daughter left the office with her two newly bonded teeth and almost now pain. He was awesome and my daughter is pretty tough too. She handled it all like a champ.

Take a look on www.ontariocobaltclub.com
They often have SS springs for sale, which people say are similar to the pro kit. Some good wheels now and then too.
