I believe the reason for the Eibachs omitting the SS is because their springs aren't considered to be a performance spring with the same firm spring rate as the FE5 springs. They are probably a softer spring than the stock FE5's.

if anyone is still interested..i talked with the eibach reps and they said the reason for it not supporting the SS is that the ride height is pretty much the same as factory but they will give a bit more of a stiffer ride...so they said its not worth switching to them if you have an SS

and for 07azhhr, the reason i ask is yes i I dont have an SS but i am running fe5 all around (springs and shocks) but i still feel i want to go lower.

so again, are there any SS on canucks? (the ones made for the HHR not the cobalt) and is it lower? Im wondering what will drop me a bit more since the eibachs wont and the yyz wont really drop either, so the only option i see left are the canucks but again not sure how low they will drop and again if any, might end up being like the eibach situation. Maybe i will send them a message too

when I dropped my LT, I confirmed the drop and it is very close to the SS 1.5 front and 2 inches rear, now Goldline state their springs drop 1.75 front and 2.25 rear so a 1/4 of an inch, difference, I like the ride of the Canucks, I have a friend with an SS and the stock springs are the same stiffness over bumps and his ride height is within a few MM's of mine to the higher side.

hmm so im wondering if its even worth it...are you on the stock shocks as well? (fe1 or fe3)

FE3 KYB's they're the same length as Kyle's SS FE5's mounting bolts to the spring seat

want to know what the SS crowd has done to lower theirs...without going coils! no way am i spending that much money haha

see ya, down the road, if you have lowering springs already then you're lowered, next step is the dreaded wooden stop block and torches to heat the springs, Very Bad Idea,
I know from personal experiences back in the day my Dad lowered his 55 Merc Monarch 3 inch lowering blocks on the leaf springs out back and he thought a little heat was better than cutting a coil and a half out of the front coil.
Ahh , Highway 69 toward Sudbury at the side of the road with a bushed coil right front, what a holiday drive!!!
