Do you feel a marked difference in handling?

I just did that as well to our 09 LS, luckily the wife hasn't noticed yet.
However I have a feeling I may not get so lucky when I change out the muffler.... Also got to get them rally's painted so I can get them installed as well.

Looks good! I like that leveled look! Would do that to mine if I had the extra cash!

Yeah just told my wife that the springs give it better handling, she didnt notice the hieght difference, but she dont really pay to much attention to things like that. She just makes sure to tell me to not break the car since its our only one.

Understandable on that one, I wouldnt of done it if I hadnt already had the springs. Now I have the front SS/SC springs and my stock rear ones and have no use for them. Any one intrested in any springs?

I got brand new rear springs laying around too since I lowered my 09. Maybe I can make some lawn ornaments out of them..

There was a spring change for the '09 model year.. Meaning 09 & newer have
stiffer oem rear springs, than the previous years..

So there is a difference...

I got mine from GMParts Direct @ $31. ea. & I chose the SS/TC springs, since I haul stuff.
But ride quality is still smooth as stock..

Thank you for your info, your HHR looks great. I love the Cobalt rims and 1/2 panel look...

I see you chose the 1" drop and mentioned you haul things...even without a load does it look completely level? I need to get a set of springs for my wife's '09 and this seems like a much less expensive route than the Gold Line leveling springs I installed on my '06.

Thanks for all of the info you have supplied! Things like this are the reasons I love this forum. I would not have thought of using these springs if not for you suggestions!

When you mention this change in springs do you mean a change in the Cobalt springs or the stock HHR springs? I would be installing these on my wife's '09 LS which is in desparate need of leveling

mine is a 08 White 2LT Panel, (look at my sig.)

I see you chose the 1" drop and mentioned you haul things...even without a load does it look completely level? Yes mine is level empty..(except) for some tools & stuff I carry above the spare tire..

I need to get a set of springs for my wife's '09 and this seems like a much less expensive route Using GM Cobalt rear springs should not affect warranty either..According to my Chevy Dealer.. than the Gold Line leveling springs I installed on my '06.
Are the goldlines falling out when your 06 gets lifted ?

Thanks for all of the info you have supplied! N/P. Things like this are the reasons I love this forum. I would not have thought of using these springs if not for you suggestions! Was NOT my original idea. Here:https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/brakes-%7C-suspension-%7C-shocks-%7C-struts-24/lowering-gm-parts-16170/
The Spring change I mentioned was for the 09 & later oem HHR rear springs..Not Cobalt springs.
