well 2 weeks ago my buddy told me he wanted to lower his HHR and eibach has a kit that is the prokit but only like 1 inch drop. So i looked into it and it uses the same parts as the cobalt so i told him im sure the sportline kit its gonna fit. well springs came in and i installed them and man car rides very nice now. No bottoming out only thing id get a camber and shim kit (reason im doing this to mine also)

frotn dropped 1.5 inches rear dropped about 2 5/16 inches.

so eibachs lowering kit for a cobolt will work on the HHR's. is there a cost difference between the two. You'd think there would have to be a reason why they havn't listed this kit for the HHR. Any ideas?

if you look at the regular cobalt drop kit and the hhr its the same part number. The sportline lowers it to a point you need a camber kit so eibach didnt want to go that route.

I've had the pro kit on my HHR for about 1 1/2 years and I think it's awsome. The stance is right and as NORCAL SS said, there is no bottoming out. With that said, I did go to a 225/50-17 and with my worn out stock shocks I do hit the rear passenger tire every now and again. I know I can roll the lip, but I want to see if new shocks will help before I go that far. Problem is finding reasonably priced shocks.
