front wheel bearings vs. struts and tires
I have a HHR and the front wheel bearings(passenger side I think) are making noise and going out. Here is my issue, my front strut and front end alignment have needed repair and replacement for about nine months. i also need four new tires due to those two problems.i finally have the money to fix those things but about two weeks ago front wheel bearings started making bad noise. i saw that the wheel bearings were covered under 100,000 mile powertrain warranty and want to take it to dealer and have that fixed. What i want to know is should i have struts, alignment and tires replaced fixed and then take it to the dealership to address front wheel bearings or take it to dealer ship first. i have no idea what is more important to fix first.please help

I would have the bearings done first. They will actually change the entire hub. I'm sure the dealership would likely not cover the alignment and if I was going to do tires struts and alignment done out of pocket anyway, I'd just let the dealership handle the hub. I'd also suggest changing the rear shocks when you have the struts done.

I'll second Stephen's advice, with one addition. Get a price from the dealer on doing the struts and alignment at the same time as they do the hubs, that way the front end will only have to come apart once. You might just end up money ahead on the deal.
