Interesting! I just replaced my brakes and wish I had seen this before!

Where are you guys sourcing lines, rotors and pads?? I may still run some of these down...

so i got the brembos calipers,rotors,and pads, what else do i need for the install? Can i still use my original brake lines.

late to this thread, but I was ordering my calipers as well and was wondering...someone in this thread mentioned spacers. Do we need wheel spacers on an SS when upgrading to the brembo's?

I just installed the Brembo calipers on my SS, and using the stock brake hoses I find them stretched really tight at full turn. The problem is not the slightly larger diameter rotor, but that the Brembo caliper hose mounting point is about 1.75" closer to the centerline of the rotor. I recommend the longer Brembo spec hoses for safety.

The proper Brembo spec brake line is 1.5" longer, with a 1.5" longer "insulator" on it. The longer line is not near as stretched tight at full turn. GM pn 25954272, about $25 each, and come with new banjo nut and copper washers.
