Getting Some R1 Concepts Possibly

So I need new rotors, and pads are starting to wear. I'm thinking of getting some R1 Concepts, as I've heard good things about them. I was wondering, do I need to get drilled or slotted rotors, or just the regular?

I was thinking these: http://www.r1concepts.com/chevrolet-...-POE.62095.htm

Also, what type of pads would I want? Do I want Metallic, Semi-Metallic, or Ceramic?

Any help or advice is much appreciated!

Any opinions on pads? Semi-metallic or ceramic?

A few cobalt owners have recommended them to me. Good price/performance.
I would go with the ceramic, less dust.

Drilled and slotted are overkill. May look and sound great, but the HHR non SS would never hit speeds to need that kind of performance.

I went with the R1 drilled and slotted rotors and their ceramic pads.
Had them on for over a year and no problems.
Several other HHR friends have used them with no probs.
R1 is great to deal with.

If there is less dust, I'm sold! Ceramic it is!!! I really need to get these for the Lumina then because that thing (being white) really shows the dust!
