3rd gen GLs should be the leveling set......rear only. Last month, I compared Dory to Nemo (Karen's ride w/ the levelers) and the back of Nemo actually sat lower than Dory. These may not be the way to go due to load making the back end sag more and takes that much more off the front wheels, making for some real light steering.

I would go for the Eibach pro kit that what i did. plenty of spring rate to haul your PAs an such.

I have the GL's a guy a I work with has the Pro Kit on his 07... If I had to due it again I would go Pro Kit - Such a better ride!!!!

Did you change your shocks and struts to shorter stroke versions or stay with the factory pieces when you installed the lowering kit?If stock pieces,do they now bottom?

The stock stuff does not bottom out. You dont need to do anything else other than cut your bump stops a small bit. The ride is better than stock. Springs will make the HHR come alive, gets away from all the mushy slugish feelings and adds some amount of confidence and handling to the car, not to mention alot of attitude Warning, once you get the springs, then you will want a sway bar, and then a ________, then a ________, you get the point, its very habbit forming....
