how low can i drop on 20" rims

yes but you are oly talking about a 1/4 in diff....hardly worth worrying about..loose that much with tire wear....a bowling ball in the rear floor wil change you that much....

That's exactly what I was saying---You would not gain any height just because you change to 20" rims and tires.
