I put new canuck motorsports rear springs in my 09 panel one week ago.I've put on about 80 miles and so far only one inch of drop. Was told they would give me 2 inches in the rear,not enough time to settle in yet? Can anyone tell me of their experiences ?

I can't speak for the Canucks, but my Pedders didn't really have any settling to speak of. Maybe an 1/8 inch or so after a few 100 miles.
You may need to look under the rear and check that the springs are fully seated onto the plastic collars. And that the collars are fully seated onto the lower spring perch.

Not the best picture, but you can see the upper and lower plastic collars(black) are seated against the top and bottom spring perches.

I seriously doubt any decent springs will settle 1", methinks you might wanna take another look for proper spring seating as firemangeorge stated.

My cobalt SS/TC springs took about 500 miles to settle in, & that was only about 1/4" at most..

I had this issue with my Canucks, call them and ask for Ray, he was a big help, shipped out replacements and they are a full 2 inch drop , best customer service ever

Thanks for the input,checked my work and found no problems with fitment. I am running 215 55 16s for winter,and measure 26 7/8 inches to the wheelwell on center of wheel.How does this compare with anyone else?I have a black panel just like the one in my replys. Being an old school type of guy,build hotrods & harleys...this is my first foray into a front wheel drive. Gotta say this site has been a hell of a help,thanks.

Mine measures: (from ground to fender lip)

Front: Stock: 27 1/2 inches............ Pedders:26 inches
Rear : Stock: 28 inches................. Pedders :26 1/2 inches

This was a drop of right at 1 1/2 inches, front and rear, from stock.
Now mine is a SS, so the stock ride height may have been different from yours.
Curious as to what your stock height was because it sounds like the Canucks have given you more than 1 inch of drop.

All springs settle, no matter what quality or brand they are, or how heavy or light the auto is. But, that settle should be less then 1/2" on a good quality spring, less then 1/4" on a superior spring. So if the immediate drop is not happening, it's not gonna happen in 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years. The advertized drop should be seen immediately.

Return them and demand some extra for labor wasted on a inferior product.

The Eibach springs lowered my HHR 1 1/2" in front and almost 2" in the rear, exactly as advertized and more then enough for current 17"s and future tire upgrade.
