How much weight will it handle?

How much weight will it handle?
We all use our HHR's for lotsa different stuff. Just wondered if anyone happens to know how much weight can be put into the cargo area before being a problem.
Specifically, I'm going to buy 40 CASES of 12"x12" tile for my house. I have access to a truck, but it's just easier for me to pick it up in my HHR on the way home from work. I'm guessing here, but I'd say that each case is roughly 25lbs...25lbs*40 cases = 1000lbs-ish. I plan on buying some other stuff while I'm there so lets just say 1200lbs. Too much?

Just have to make sure the weight gets distributed evenly.

I've decided to go get my father-in-laws truck. My mother-in-law is DYING to drive my HHR and I like driving their truck (Supercrew f150). I usually end up coming home with more crap than I end up going for initially, so better safe than sorry. I forgot the tile for the shower in my equation, so it'll be more like 45 cases. And the grout. And anything else I find

Well, I got everything home in the truck. I forgot to add in the 4-50lb bags of mortar and 3-25lb bags of grout into the equation. 40 cases (11/case) of sandstone and 3 cases (15/case) of slate blue, plus the grout and mortar. Let's put it this way...made a 2wd SuperCrew F150 sag ass pretty hard. Glad I thought better of trying to use the HHR!
