I would check out the Eibachs. They have the drop rate you are looking for and Eibach is known for quality. Plus you can get the springs and front and rear sway bars for about $500 as a kit.

We would agree with the Eibach Pro Spring Kit but would avoid there sway bars! There rear bar has major design flaws and there front bar is overkill for any application! I would recommend a rear bar but any mention of a non-supporting vendors product could see this post deleted .....

Whichever drop you do in the rear will be fine with the mud flaps.

Here is what the Eibachs look like, 2" in the rear 1" in the front, I have mudflaps they dont scrape on speedbumps but they will on a really steep driveway if you dont go in at an angle. They ride really nice due to they are progressive rate springs so they start out soft but stiffen up the further you compress them. Hope that helps.

I'm familiar with the Eibach brand, and the deeper drop over SS/TC springs is tempting, but it doesn't seem like the rear springs can be had by themselves, unless I've missed something on their site.

@ChefHHR: I'm not convinced my flaps would survive... there are some excessively tall and wide speed bumps around here that are pretty scraped up, which I hope is mostly from Civics and Acuras :)

I am still wondering why you want to drop just the rear. I see your numbers but the amount you say you need just for the rear does not make sense when you look at the stance of one that has been dropped just in the rear vs both front and rear.

Look at Fire's first pic. That is just dropping the rear. Now look at Larry's pic. That is the Eibachs front and rear. Notice when you drop the whole car it sits level with the Eibachs. Their rear is stated as the same amount you say you need to be even with the front. If that is the case then perhaps something is wrong or has been altered already with your suspension.

Just wondered if anyone has experimented with going with narrow front tires WIDE Tires in the back, jacked UP IN THE BACK.....you KNOW LIKE THE old HOT RODS......jacked UP AIR SHOCKS IN THE BACK.....Probably not a good thing since it is FWD, But curious if anyone had gone for that look?

I have found that if you put 6 cases of double edge tape in the far back you will be level.

Small joke. I have put 28 cases in mine and it is not quite level then.
