If you need a nice set of ramps, find a sawmill. We had a couple of sets made when I worked at the fire department. The prominent use was to back onto them with the inside wheels so we could install chains on the outside tires. (noisy things on the tires for traction in snow!) They were a bit bulky but took the weight. And very affordable as they were from fresh cut oak.

Because it only has a single front roller wheel you want to make sure it's on level ground when using it, if not one of the rear wheels could lift off the ground ( which could be unsafe ).

As a side note; I would NEVER jack up an HHR on anything BUT level ground. The "E" brake on these cars is cheezy at best, I wouldnt' trust it to hold the car on any type of incline. In our shop (level floor), we have no problems using the single front roller jack - works a charm!

Good price on these Sindy. My shop has 4 of these aluminum jacks and we've been using them now about 4 years. They're great lightweight jacks and have served us well. -Dan
