Hmmm. More than 1 inch.
Dia.
205/55-16 24.9in 0.0%
215/65-16 27.0in 8.5%
The rear ones have got to be close to rubbing the inner fenderwells since they are almost an inch taller than any stock size on a HHR(any model)
Largest tire that will fit the front and clear the strut lower perch is 26.3 inches. Plus. The F/R's should be the same size especially if you've got anti-lock brakes.

I’ve been researching lowering springs, seems to be a matter of preference.
one posts because his Pedders are to soft, another his Goldlines , which generation? But to harsh, like coil overs and not as low.
I kicked around the idea of a FRSS air suspension kit, the wife didn’t like the idea of spending that much , about half what I paid for the HHR.
I keep coming back to Canuck Motorsports, so do most anyone else , and another liked his Eibachs , but they are expensive.
I can’t believe, I’m considering leaving it stock height! Don’t worry, it’s just a bug, the fever will break so!

In my part of the world, it's not practical to drop the front too much, so I've been quite pleased just 'leveling mine with Cobalt SS/TC rear springs.
My last S-10 I dropped it 4" F & 5" in rear, & I had to watch every where went.. Too much hassle.. Gots to fly man..
