Lowering the SS

Has anyone had the idea of lowering the SS model ive been looking at a lot of stuff and really need some opinions on the subject. I was thinking of going 1 to 2 inchs but i dont know if their are really any springs that would be amazing to do so. I really apreciate the help from all of you. Thanks

Does it improve the handling when you drop.

Pedders springs run around $89 each...thats comparable to the other kits around......the $1000 are for coil over setups
And I wouldn't trust a Cobalt spring on a SS...doubt very much if you see any change, they would be equal to if not less then a HHR
SS spring,,the drop only happens on the non ss cars......the only way to go on a SS is aftermarket and unless you go coilovers you'll only see around 1 inch...if youve never driven a dropped vehicle your in for a surprise.......and everybody thought the rear sway bar was trick........
