Lowest i can safely go without bottoming out, ever?

I bottomed out on my first speedbump this morning. I'd say that if you have concerns about bottoming out, do as Swerv has mentioned and just drop the rear to even out the stance. I've got mine dropped about 2" in the front and 3" in the rear using a Canuck Motorsports Cobalt SS drop kit and it's pretty low...I have to go super slow over speed bumps and into driveways otherwise I'm bottoming out.
I dropped my S-10 4" F / 5" R & after 10 yrs, that was enuff..
Now my panel I leveled & loving it, almost 3 yrs now...
