Monroe Vs KYB Shocks

I'm going to be replacing my rear shocks on my 06 LT and I have to choose between Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks and KYB GR-2 / Excel-G shocks. The prices are close enough to each other that its not a concern, I just want to know which brand is better overall. Thanks guys

As former President Clinton almost said, depends on what your meaning of better "IS".

KYB's have always been considered better made and better engineered (auto mags, Consumer tests, and at least GM comparitive testing) and will PROBABLY last the longest.

Although you can probably get suitable use from either.
