I have a degree in architecture. I got that along with a degree in computer programming and a degree in design. I got all of that hoping to work for General Motors as one of the designers. Ah the dreams and plans I had. Now, I ended up working for Prince Sporting Goods in IT and co-owner of my wifes website. I basically forgot all the computer programming stuff too. The moral of this is no matter what degrees you have, the most important thing is to go for the job that you want, and not to expect anything to fall into your lap. Remember that, and maybe you'll be sucessful.

Still trying for that GM job, just I have to brush up on my computer programming stuff.

HHRforever.....

Just some advise. I don't think GM does their own computer programming or much hiring in that area. Most of that is sub-contracted to "outside" companies (EDS, BEAS, ets.) GM's emphasis is on "core" positions...engineers, defined area skilled technicians, etc. Even a lot of the design work is sub-contracted.

Send me a PM...maybe I can help.
