non brembo SS brake upgrade

Hi been reading the posts, but can someone verify that I can install the larger non brembo ss brakes on my 08 panel using the stock calipers? I just have to buy the different caliper brackets? and which brackets do I use
22705376 & 22705377? thanks

I can confirm that you can use your LS/LT calipers with the SS non Brembo caliper brackets and larger 11.65 inch rotors.
Solman98 did a great write up on this brake upgrade with part numbers or you could post a wanted ad in the classified section, somebody might have a set of SS brackets collecting dust they might want to sell.
Slideright just did this upgrade also.
I can also confirm the 16 inch 16 hole steelies and Wheel Vintiques 16 inch rally rims fit !!

I just did the upgrade to my 2010 HHR.

I got remanufactured caliper brackets from RockAuto.com for just under $26 each.

These are the caliper brackets I ordered:
A-1 CARDONE Part # 141171 {#22705376, 22720703} CARDONE Service Plus Caliper Bracket; Reman; Sold individually
Front Left; GM Brake Code JL9; GM Brake Codes are on the "Service Parts Identification" sticker.

A-1 CARDONE Part # 141172 {#22705377, 22720702} CARDONE Service Plus Caliper Bracket; Reman; Sold individually
Front Right; GM Brake Code JL9; GM Brake Codes are on the "Service Parts Identification" sticker.

Double check the torque on the bracket bolts or a drop of Loctite on the threads!

I will, also I thought I read somewhere that if im reusing the non SS calipers, that I leave out a shim that comes with brackets because of the non SS Knuckle ?

pretty easy upgrade, not too big an increase in rotor size but hope it
helps the warping problem.
