Question Power Stop Brakes/Rotors..?

I'm looking to upgrade the brakes and rotors on my 07 HHR and the wifes 10 Cobalt. I'm just wonder if there is any feedback on Power Stop units? I'm gonna go with Drilled and Slotted I think...

Never mind.. found it.. thanks..

I'm looking for info on the brake pads and rotors from Power Stop. I'm not finding any mention of them in that post.

Im actually about to swap to them. Had them on my mazda and loved them. They are cheaper than the hawk set up I run now, I will be ordering them next week. Front and rear. I normally dont like drilled rotors due to the micro-fracturing that happens but with the mazda, like I said no problems.

Thanks Diggity.. I was reading some reviews on them last night and the reviews were a bit harsh. Seems the major complaint was warping. I was beginning to lean towards Hawk after that. So i'm glad to hear some positive feedback. The cost of Power Stop is a bit less then the Hawk so that was a selling point for me, and they do look nice....

Well the problem is people dont match the pads w the rotors. Wrong pads on the rotor will cause problems. Plus depends on how you brake. Dont go from 70 to 0 in no time. These arent brembos:p
But for normal driving they are good. Will swap when i go to the track n put on my hawks.

HHR Rotors

I replace stock rotors at 6,000 miles after dealer turned them twice. I bought drilled and slotted rotors. Have over 135,000 miles and still work perfect. They are a little louder but no problem. Had lifetime warranty about warping. Bought from Brake Performonce. A little pricey but never have to turn or replace.

I had bought drilled and slotted rotors with powerstop pads and found them to have a "grinding noise" when I used them.....I went backs to the wagner pads and smooth rotors "aftermarket from Advance" and it is nice a smooth and stops great....not to say that others have had success but in my situation I had to go back to the orginal set up...
