Replacement brake rotors.

No he didn't.
Easy job. Two bolts to remove the caliper, two more for the caliper bracket. Swap the rotors, put the bracket on, then one caliper bolt. Compress the piston, swap the pads, rotate back into position and put the last bolt in. Done.

Much better. You can feel the difference.
Check with or supporting vendor HHRBOUTIQUE, MY wife paid $279 for EBC rotors and red stuff pads from somewhere else....
No JoeR did most of the work. Having the power tools makes it easier. Took about a 1/2 for both sides!
Just talked to Gregory at world performance parts. They are the distributor for the SP brake rotors and pads.
They have sold the SP rotors and pads to several dealers to be installed on HHR's, and have no problems.
I am considering going with them, unless someone can convince me the EBC product is just as good.
SP rotors are: $244.47
SP pads are: $54.11
How much are the EBC rotors and pads.
Your opinions please.

That black is what's call e-coat. This is very similar to powder coat but much thinner. It's becoming a more popular choice over the conventional zinc coatings due to better uniformity in finish and the issues of electro plating and chemicals etc.
Wilwood is now moving to this finish on many of the SRP drilled parts also. I'd like to consider it personally but have yet to find anyone in the Phoenix area who has set up a line to run this process....
