I'm doing the brakes on my 2006 LT2. I stumbled upon a NAPA Self Adjuster Repair Kit (Part Number: UP 81536 NAPA AUTO PARTS ).

Anyone know if this kit will upgrade the rear adjusters so that they will work reliably over time? Will the rear brakes always self-adjust, or are these the same as the original oem?

Not an upgrade, just a replacement. May help tho. Be sure to get the correct parts, they changed sometime in 2009, not sure when.

the part looks like the pre 2009 adjuster, but it could be a file part picture. So just clean and lube up the old ones and keep adjusting every oil change
