Shocks with Springs?

I planned on ordering Eibach Pro kit springs and have installed at dealer when its already there for warranty work. They told me shocks/struts would need changed too. That true? I didn't think it was. Thanks.

Nope not true, but wouldn't hurt. I'm running my Canucks on my stock struts and shocks.

Depending on your mileage it may be helpful if your over 50k a decent chance your stock shocks are shot. But no it's not needed. Just installed ss/SC springs on my stock struts/shocks and man what a night and day difference. Shocks and struts wear gradually unless you blow one with a harsh impact. Most of the time it's such a gradual decline you don't,notice it until they are worn out. If you have the money I'd look at a set while your getting your springs changed if your high miles. If not pocket the money and put it towards a sway bar or other goodies

Is it needed no. But it is A good idea to do. With the shock compressed more with the lower spring it will wear much faster. So if you have some miles I would do it since it will already be apart. That's why I'm waiting to fully lower mine. I've got over 70k.

Thanks for the info. So, should I go with a different or aftermarket shock/strut? Any suggestions?

I've been looking around myself. I've had good experience before with kyb, and bilstein, but I was looking into some stagg shs but don't know a lot about them yet, trying to research. Koni yellows are amazing but expensive.

I too am curious about the stagg shs. They have a complete set on ebay but no nothing about them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/400298307078...84.m1438.l2649

Any heads up on these would much appreciated. I don't want to buy something that isn't worth the money.
