Struts ?? help!!

Are cobalt ss struts same as a hhr ss? And would eibach springs from a cobalt ss fit on my hhr ss?

they will both fit, but they may not be tuned specifically for the weight of the hhr. You may not even notice though. I have cobalt struts and shocks on mine and like them.
Eibach specs the same part for cobalt and hhr, but I think there is a fair difference in weight that may not be accounted for. I have also heard of several failures lately from cobalt owners with broken eibach springs.

Eibach used my HHR to redesign their rear springs for the HHR because of the weight diffrence of the cars. this was over a year ago.

I just ordered from Rock Auto Fe-5 struts for my 2006 2lt HHR,as mine is lowered 2in. in front, have heard the spring travel rate is not good and that these struts should make a diffrence, hope so.

a bit maybe 1/4 inch or so, I went KYB struts and shocks and Canuck Motorsports springs 2 years ago, no sag, still great ride and handleing and 35,000 miles later the struts and shocks still have no leaks or control issues

I have a question? my 2lt is lowered 2 inches in front, what should I expect to change when i have the AC-Delco Fe5 struts installed next week? ride quality? will it sit lower? hope to hear from someone that has done this, many thanks.
