Sway Bar
I add the TTR sway bar on Monday then went on a two day road trip down the Southern coast of Oregon and then over to redding, ca and there was a lot of twisties. This bar seemed to connect the car even with a couple of hundred pounds in the back. This is a great addition to my car.

What loctite product did you use?
I bought a bar but haven't even looked under the HHR or decided on which HHR to install it on yet.
Waiting for some warm weather to do it.
Because the box is still sealed I haven't looked to see if the install uses a bolt into a prethreaded welded nut or a separate nut and bolt to fasten.
If separate, why wouldn't a nyloc nut with a lock washer work.

Not seperate nuts. The two nuts are tack welded on a seperate plate. That way you don't need a wrench on the nut as you tighten the bolts from bottom.
Loctite on mine. I've checked it a couple times with a torque wrench. Hasn't loosened a bit.

have had the TTR bar on for about a year....used lockwashers as well as some BLUE loctite(thought that the RED would be a bit too much). anyway....bolts as tight today as when installed......great addition to my HHR

I used Blue Loctite initially, which is plenty..
but later I switched to Red.
Never came loose, & I can still remove bolts if needed. Overkill, but that's just me..

You guys and your loctite made me chuckle. Up here, driving in the winter provides all mine need to stay tight. Advantage, rust belt!
OK, it's not an advantage, but it does that automatically for us... I just replaced my front struts, and found a bunch of "orange blight" on the top mount nut on them - way up away from the road. I could barely get them apart even with a good blast of PB blaster.
So, I am a bigger user of anti-seize than I am of Loctite as a rule. Wish it were not as necessary, but broken bolts during repairs happen way more to me than things coming loose.
