Thumbs up Prothane 25mm Sway Bar Bushings in polyeurthane

Guys and Ladies,

I just got done replacing the sway bushings with poly from Energy Suspension.com.

I got the non-greasable ones in black because I didn't want to deal with a fitting. It does come with a tube of grease that you install before mounting them. I picked this brand over all the others because the brackets matched my bolt holes and they are truly 25 MM like the bar. Some "universal" are 25MM or 1 inch but if you do the math, that's 25.4 MM=1 inch. I wanted them to be the exact size and ordered:

Part Number: 191141
Product Name: Universal Sway Bar Bushings - 25mm - B
Quantity: 1
Unit Price: $12.57
> > > Color : Black
--------------------------
Order Total : $12.57
Shipping : $4.88
Grand Total : $17.45

The only advice that I have for you is to make sure that you are careful with the 10 MM bolt hidden inside of the frame where you remove the mount. Strip the head and you are in big trouble. This job is a minor pain in the butt but not impossibly hard. It helped to remove the bar from the end link. You can email me if you want to know about the tools needed, and the difficulty level etc.

So how does it perform? It's as quiet as it has ever been. Not perfect but very good with my Eibach springs. It handles great and I recommend this retrofit.

So, because of a little "deal" with the forum, your part number isn't a number. 911

I would guess it's #19 1 141 without any of the spaces, correct?

Dear Greybeard,

Can't explain why it did that but the part is 191141 from Energy Suspension Parts.com

Sorry about that,

The missing #s are 9-1-1. You did catch the fact that the flag is a memorial for the 9-11 disaster? God bless FDNY 343.

Yes.... caught that.

Still makes it confusing if a part number or other has that sequence of numbers, unless you can figure out the code.

191141-B for Real

Guys and Ladies,

You got it right despite my efforts to totally confuse you!

They make a couple versions but the 191141-B designates the wider bracket which accomodates our cars wider mounting base area.

You can pick the greasable or Non which mine are.
