2007 HHR. Vibrates above 40 mph and turning left. Replaced hub. Rotated tires. Still there. Not sure now. Bueller???

Front. I didn't change the other hub. Everything else I have read, if you turn to the left and vibrates worse, it is your right side. Definitely feel it on the right. Nada on driver's side.

Don't refuse to jack the corner up and test the hub based on what you thought you understood on the internet.

Go ahead and throw parts around without checking if they are actually bad, fine with me.

You should change hubs in pairs, at least to save yourself future grief.

i would check three things, 1. check sway bar links, 2. tie rod ends, 3. maybe you threw a weight of a wheel and it became unbalanced. all three you can check at home in the driveway/garage.

rear hubs can be checked with the wheel off the ground hold the top and bottom of the tire and wiggle it if it moves then rotate the tire and listen for grinding noise , now if you her that , remove the tire and the brake drum and wiggle the hub itself and rotate it, if it still makes a noise , replace the hub, and as Don suggested , replace hubs in pairs
If one is worn the other is right behind it.

Thanks all! Don.. You tha man! Should have changed in pairs. The only reason I didn't was due to the place only having the one and time constraint. It was the driver's side front making the noise.
