Wheel Spacers

Wheel Spacers
Has anyone done this yet? I searched and only found one relevant thread with two posts, it really didn't go anywhere and was over a year old so I thought I would ask again.
I am interested to see how it looks.

Do not get the cheap Mr. Gasket ones.
I bought the cheap Mr. Gasket ones and I do not like them. They only cover about half the surface area of the wheel. It is probably strong enough but I am going to get some better quailty ones someday. They do make it look nice. I had to use the thin ones .200 to clear the suspension and to compensate for the offset when I installed the Solstice wheels. Curly

If you go to 4.75" x 5 bolt pattern, you'll have even more choices...that's the old standard in GM bolt patterns. These guys make adapters for 110 x 5 to 4.75" x 5. Quality billet in different thicknesses. Shoot them an email:

the GENERAL rule of thumb is 5mm spacer at most... just make sure the lugs have enough turns to still grab correctly... at that point it's even more important for you to torque the lugs properly...
3mm is more "bullet" proof... but i ran 5mm spacers for years with no ill effects...
