Well let me be the first to announce that we have secured an absolutly beautifull venue for this years event..we are shooting for the LARGEST GATHERING of HHRs to date.The area we have for this year will hold up to 800 cars with grassy and paved areas(with shade)..60 onsite hotel rooms wich have graciously offered up rooms for 89$ a night/includes breakfast sandwich..hotel has pool and LICENCED BAR/PATIO AREA...onsite TIM HORTONS and for the ladies..steps to FACTORY SHOPPING!!.RESTARAUNT onsite as well..not to mention a beautifull view over lake Ontario and only minutes from THE FALLS and scenic wine country around NIAGRA ON THE LAKE.....

Great idea - just remember you will need a US passport or the newer type of driver's license to get into Canada. I remember Prudommes well - didn't it burn down about 20 years ago?

 

Yes it did..used to be a wild water park/amusment park with go karts the whole deal..after it burned down they did there best but it didnt last..all the stuff was tore out a long time ago..thats what makes it such a great spot for a show..its so wide open..as it sits practicly a stones throw from the major hwy they left it open for the hotel,sub shop,a Tim hortons moved in and a variety store..gas station down the far end...there is a Paintball place also but not sure if its still open...they have a large off road rc track/paintball the last few years..im looking into whether they will be open as well....

 

So this is a car show, not a HHR car show?

Also, is this a chaity event, what vendors are lined up, classes for the show, what is included for registration fee, are other activities planned?

 

I used to go there from Jamestown when I was around 10. We would go to Fort Erie and play the horses and then visit Pruhommes. Always bought fireworks because we couldn't get them around here. Hope I can join up.

 

THIS WILL BE THE LARGEST GATHERING OF HHRs in one spot yet but advertised to all...this venue is an x theme park.. enough to be one of the largest car shows in the area..we are talkin acreage not a teene weeene parkin lot..
Invites will be going out to every HHR club we know of as well as advertised on Facebook and will be posting a listing on EBAY under the header of HHR so I would estimate we get a crap load of HHR to the show..our local dealership is also aiding us in with a listing on GM dealership website..over the next few weeks I will be doing my best to contact as many HHR related websites as I can to aid in attracting as many HHR as we can..listing will also be going out on craigslist and kijiji....with an onsite 60 room hotel and all other ammenities..it makes for the perfect spot for a huge show...the show is being put on by the
