we have had 2 claims on the venture, 1 my wife's fault, 1 was not. Progressive did excellent both times. I know what you mean, though, I've seen far too many people pay less and get screwed over when something happens

Mine is $342 for 6 months with the following coverages. Includes multi-car discount with American National Insurance. Best deal available for me in the State of Colorado. I pay monthly by deduction from my checking account ($57) and they don't charge any monthly fee for that service either. Sure takes the bite out of paying the whole thing at once every 6 months.

100/300/100 Bodily Injury/Property Damage, 100/300 Uninsured/Underinsured Bodily Injury, $100 Ded Comprehensive, $500 Deductible Collission, Emergency Road Service

It's a 2008 panel for mostly business use. Installs, Service calls, less than 20,000KM per year and I'm 53 yrs old. 1600- per year!!!
Apparently it's because it's a new model (2006 is new???!!!!!!) and they don't know how it will fare in theft, repair, blah, blah, phukking blah,

What a racket, would you mind emailing the name of your agent or insurance company. I have 6 months before the policy ends so they'll get another 300- out of me, the bloodsuckers, I had an answer for every reason they threw at me including friggin' ONstar to get a stolen vehicle back.

Bought mine for my son (under 21). We only had one vehicle (2007 Tahoe) on the prior policy and my rates went from $505 every 6 months to $1260 every 6 months. I make the HHR payments he pays $125/month back to me for insurance. We get a discount for his grades which helps a little. By the way, the insurance company calls the HHR a Sport Wagon.
