O it rained out.. just as we got done washing the hhr,,,,,then it was just a cool and windy day,,,....O O O prod,,,,he says he win 3th in the show,, to funny i was there and seen no wins,,,,if so ,, show a pic,,please,,

I think he's sayin he placed 3rd in the audio competion , congrats on gettin third . Hope to see everyone soon not sure about godrich , will let ya know later in week .

Ya, third in the audio competition. No pics, just a black ribbon with a big pontiac logo. The pontiac club was running it. We got 134.8 dB, not our best but still good.
The guy in the Blazer got over 150 dB, hes a regular competitor Ive seen before, running four 18" subs built in a wall.

I don't see why db is the true test of an awesome stereo?? I would think quality of installation and ingenuity and originality would have some merit as well as quality of sound. That Blazer made my rear license plate rattle and he was 4 spots away from my car. Quite annoying actually!

The guy who was judging the cars was good. He would take some time to explain things that make you points and areas to improve or where points get deducted. I thought the show was well done overall!

I agree, a lot of noise from the Blazer but I could recognize a word never mind the song. Simply loud (db) is not my interpretation of a quality high end stereo.

Ya, this was just SPL (sound pressure level). You see more of a homemade frankenstein type install. They also have sound quality competitions, but I dont have the money or know-how to put into that.
