Damn.
I'm embarrassed. This is one I should have thought of long ago. When my wife had some pregnancy issues and we were young and scared, this one used to make me cry. Maybe I'm the only Blue Rodeo fan (a huge one, for an American). If we are lost, we are lost together!!!

Now THAT is one we never hear here in the States! I haven't heard it in years. Their first is the one album I don't have.
It kind of has a Doors vibe in the beginning, but it's still all Blue Rodeo.
They used to come and play in the Detroit area, but now that they are slowing down, I don't think they leave Canada. Maybe I can get MY wife to package up a vacation to catch them somewhere. I have had several Canadian vacations and never had a real bad experience, EXCEPT for one time in Nova Scotia.
I celebrated my 27th birthday up there between Halifax and Cape Breton Island. The place was modest, but we hoped for good seafood and the Cabot Trail the following day. Weeelllll, their kitchen staff apparently quit on the spot (for reasons unknown). It took 50 minutes for them to bring me mussels that were still frozen. I got a refund, and finished the Combos in my travel bag back in the room. Happy Birthday.
Luckily, the girlfriend I was with made it all worth it. She's still around - 25 years later. Cape Breton is a place to see, though. If you haven't yet, you must! The best Provincial or State Park I have ever been to, in terms of beauty and preserving the area.

Wow. Love that Beach Boys song above. Thanks Ca Blue HHR.
I've been listening to a lot of the old Beach Boys stuff on You Tube lately.
Here's another one I always thought was one of their greatest.
Video has some great pics. Even some old hot rods.
