07 LT with 51756 miles Trans Issue...
Hello,
I need help with a transmission issue. Every time I make a left U turn I get High RPMS when shifting form first to second gear. & nothing happens when I do a right U turn. Cars an automatic mind you. Also I hear some weird noises after that when driving the noise is very hard to describe. I dunno if its grinding for rattling? I have taken the car to Good Year & I was told the trans is fine. I was told by a friend when he drove in the car that it sounds like it maybe "Transmission Value Body" Any ideas ?

True - there is no dipstick. However there is a procedure documented here on it. I'll see if I can find it for you (just a bit clumsy to do on a tablet).
Here you go - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/main...n-fluid-28917/
The first and second page are the most relevant - especially the picture showing the inspection hole and the fill hole.
It's not a procedure everyone will want to do however, and often people just take to a mechanic.
Hope that helps.

Hello and thank you all for the quick responses. I went to GoodYear this Monday and found out my car was "FOUR" quarts short of oil, which you all know they hold SEVEN. I wasn't please with GoodYear when I found this out. No damage was done to the transmission but if I do have issues with it they said GoodYear will be responsibly for fixing it since it left there building short four quarts.
