Naz's Featured HHR Submission for April

Descriptive Thread Title: Naz's Featured HHR Submission for April

Name: Corey
Location: Atlanta
Car Name: Black Sparrow

Car Year, Make, Model, Trim: 2006, Chevy HHR LS 2.2L

Stock Options: 2.2L, Auto. Pretty much Basic everything.

Modifications:
SoCalHHR "Stubby" Antenna
SoCalHHR Window Vent Visors
RIAX Fontana Gunmetal 17" Wheel Rims
Falken DE-512 17" Tires
Front License Plate Bracket
3 Bar Grille with Black Mesh
Light in Sight!

Future plans:
Assuming I can eventually afford to do anymore

Lower Grille section
IMCO T924 Muffler
Rear Spoiler - I haven't decided what kind yet though
Eventually Upgrade Speakers
Add a Sub
Add an Amp

Running Boards and Lake Pipes might be nice.. but I'll probably never get to those due to all the expense.

I might paint the 3 Bar Grille to match the body Color; and I might smoke the headlights.. haven't decided on either of those yet. If I can afford them; maybe I'll order the Headlights from the black Fall Addition HHR and just swap them out.

Other:
Creative ZEN Vision:M 30G MP3 Player

I added this, because this was my first car with an auxiliary input on the radio. I used to carry dozens of CD's and they used to be laying all over my car. When I got the HHR and discovered it had that little plug, I went and got this litle ZEN; I can plug it into the Stereo; and I now have just about my entire Music collection; including stuff I didn't have on CD in the first place... 10gig's worth in various downloaded music... as well as all my CD's; all at the touch of just a few buttons!

This was before the 3 Bar Grille was added.

This was before I did anything to it.

Thanks guys... and for the record...

The Rims are the same as what Mike at SoCalHHR used on his "HHR1"... I got interested in them after looking at pictures of his. Did a google on the manufacturer, RIAX... and eventually found a set really cheap on Ebay! They're actually by American Racing; who makes RIAX... and they're a copy of the Motegi DV5 Rims; which also come in black from Motegi, but cost almost twice as much!

Nice HHR you got there, love what you did with the grill unlike other members you painted the mesh behind it black so it looks almost like it came that way from the factory! Way to Go!

Actually; the mesh came that way! Its Gutter Guard; $2 a roll at Ace Hardware... its some sort of a black polymer material. I backed it up with a standard aluminum strip of gutter guard for extra strength, that cost about the same.

Only if that gold were real; and I were able to buy a brand new 2007 Fall Edition HHR with it!
