Officer1151's December 2010 Featured Submission
Name: Kevin Price
Location: Dayton, Ohio
Car Info: 2008, Chevy, HHR, 1LT Shadow Edition
Stock Options: Ebony cloth seats, Black Granite Metallic paint, Bright Chrome appearance package, 6 disc CD changer, On-Star, XM capable, 5 speed manual transmission, 2.2L 4cyl Ecotec motor.
Modifications: Block Letters on the Grille reading (Chevrolet) and bowties have been primed gray to be sanded and painted to match the car in the spring, chrome valve stem covers with "HHR" on them, and a chrome stubby antenna, suction cup dash mount warning light, 2 triple led surface mount LED warning lights on L-brackets in the rear both wired for cigarette adapter.
Soon to be added: Green LED under-body lights from street glow, and green LED floor board lights that come as a set of 4, 2 of which I am going to mount under the hood, and wire to the set under the frame. Also getting IPCW Bermuda Black LED tail lights and white led flex strips for under the headlights.
Future plans: At some point in the future I would like to put in a 2.0L turbocharged HHR motor in and have it flashed and set up to run like an SS with a stock Shadow Edition appearance. I am also picking up a set of steel rims and modifying a set of Impala interceptor edition chrome center caps to put on my HHR's steel rims. Thus creating a more professional appearance for when I work, and swapping rims out when I want to vacation and look good.
All of the lights to be added to this vehicle still will be stealth, and removable so when I vacation, they can be removed and travel normally.

It does look better without the stripes.... or actually without the stripes on one side. The stripes would have been cool if both sides were done (I know it was from the previous owner and not your doing) and may have gone well with some of the other mods you have planned.

True, although, here's the thing. I may be doing some led underbody and such. But I'm also doing warning lights. Both of which unless you knew or saw them, would not be seen. The stripes could. I didn't much care for them, but the price was right. So why not get something sweet looking and modify it.
