Thanks for the vote Canuck, but what I'm really waiting for, is to see an HHR like your Avatar, with a big blower hanging out of the hood, doing wheelies.

Thanks for the recognition, John.

I never ever consider any of my cars finished-they are always a work in process. The other day I switched the organizer I had on the back of the passanger seat. I got a really nice one that has 2 cup holders and a drop down tray good for holding a DVD player or coloring so my daughter will love it. The problem was that I didnt like the way it was held in place with a strap around the head rest and elastic on the bottom. It wasnt up high enough, was not tight against the seat. So, I made a piece of wood across the top, attache some 1/8 inch masonite with 2 holes that fit under the head rest (like my subwoofer mount) and then screwed it to the seat back. Nice and secure and perfect. Then, I modified a cell phone holder to fit on my dash. Never done.

I have to bring it to the body shop to get all of the holes filled in for the various things I removed-factory antenna and rear wiper, as well as some of the 'options' that I was forced to take when I bought the car but never wanted, like the roof rack and rear spoiler. I also have a few dings and dents I want repaired. I am thinking about removing the flames and going for a different look while they have the car. Perhaps something simple like pinstripes, or painted ghost flames. The car is very striking with the bright yellow flames, but I never planned on that look originally. I only wanted to get a border on the top of the windshield that would conceal my EZPass which is bright white and stands out like a sore thumb. They quickly covered it with a patch of black vinyl, then suggested a little yellow flame on each side of the top of the window, then something on each side coming from the wheelwells. I was expecting just a flame outline. After about a week, I thought it looked unbalanced and needed something by the rear fenders. Then, it still looked like it was missing something and we did the ones by the headlights.

It gets a lot of attention, but is a bit gaudy for everyday driving.

Anyhow, now my main focus has been on building my Pro-Street Jeep.
