07 HHR no crank sometimes
#61
Thank you. I just changed my oil a less than a month ago and there was no fuel in it. Im assuming and hoping that the incorrect voltage the injectors were receiving caused them to stay open and filled the cylinders with whatever fuel was in the rail then it just leaked past the rings. Im changing the oil tomorrow and gonna keep an eye on it and my fingers crossed.

Anyone know about the wires under carpet ?
The issue was the salt water corroded the wires under the driver side carpet. The aftermarket GPS tracker or whatever it was that was crudely spliced in and they cut 8 wires open when removing the sheath only two of which were broken in half the rest were green and corroded badly to the point they may have not even been connected anymore at the accidental cut. They never replaced the sheathing over the bundle of wires and the bare wires were just rubbing on metal and laying in salt water. I hope someday if someone else has a similar no crank issue they find this thread and can make sense of my nonsense.
Does anyone know what those wires under the driver's carpet go to ?
This is the first thread I've found describing them directly. I've seen mentioned vaguely in other threads about "wires under the front seat(s) going bad" and causing electrical problems, but I haven't had much luck finding out what and where such wires are (and there may be multiple candidates, I was thinking under-seat circuits but under-carpet never occurred to me).
