07 Panel engine options.
I have a 2007 Panel. I have a 2010 HHR with a 2.2. Will all of the wiring harness and fuel system fit in place of all the 2007 2.2. If dash is needed so be it. And the Panel is trashed with mice so it's getting gutted anyway.

Not doubting you are capable. There are two inescapable points.
1) Why that much trouble for a mundane 2.2 outcome? And it just can't stand much in the way of performance mods. Find an Ecotec turbo (prolly $$$ and scarce) or supercharged LSJ ($ and plentiful? LOTS of cheap performance support.)
2) Swapping in the correct used motor will be a LOT less work and may not even cost much more out-of-pocket by the time your done.
If you really want to use that motor, find the right car for it that needs it. Your 2.2 LE8 is exclusive to 2009-11 HHR, but should easily adapt to 2009-10 Cobalt and 2009 G5.

I'm a Left above knee amputee. I don't get a check or benefits. So that is the first answer to all of your WHy's. I have 1000.00 in 2 HHRs. I don't have another 1200.00 by the time fluids and a used engine cost. Just done my 2008 2.4 LT last year. If all I have to do is swap harness I will only be out fluids. If I can handle building a 2008 4x4 HHR. I think I can handle swapping a harness. Then I'll have a 2007 HHR Panel with a 2010 2.2 VVT flex fuel. Not exactly cheap if I had to count labor. But in the end I'll have around 1500.00 in it.

Well, I sure am confused. which engines are going where?
A 2011 2.2L has VVT a 2007 2,4L has VVT fairly easy swap. A 2011 VVT to a 2007 2.2L (non-VVT) not so easy.
Not the FlexFuel that counts except for fuel delivery (fuel pump, seals and anything rubber or plastic that makes contact with fuel.
I thought you were talking 2007 to 2011 2.2L and did not say which engine in the 2007.

To clarify, the 2007 2.2 will be receiving the 2010 2.2 VVT , wiring harness and ECM and TCM , sounds like fun.
to bad your so far away, I can’t get over to your shop to help you get this swap done!

Then bring everything from the 2010. Transmission. Harnesses. Modules. Radio. Maybe even ignition switch, not sure. A tripping tripping point will be the window controls, so you'll probably want to bring the front door cards too, and the console parts in the area of the shifter.
