So, Greg, did your dealer throw you a curve on the price?
Instead of my factory invoice price, they gave me the GM Supplier price which came with a $1000 rebate. I don't know if that means I got factory invoice or not. Thing is it was about $2000 over my dealers last best estimate.
Yes--same scenario.. The new program was GM Supplier + the $1k rebate.. The Supplier price is actually less than Invoice in So Calif--AFTER you factor in the "advertising" surcharges (no gettin' around that one).. But I think the price I paid was pretty much the same as promised or less (from the Dealer's profit margin)... I'll show you the papers on SAT if you wish...

Congratulations Chris. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. It's a blast.

Talking Thanks to All!!!

Just a quick note to say As many of you know, I joined this Forum back in FEB.. I was interested in a new HHR, but had very little knowledge about them--heck--I didn't even know what model I wanted!

Everyone in the Forum has been extremely helpful in guiding me through the decision-making process.. Your assistance and wealth of information, coupled with the fact that you took the time to offer suggestions, comments, etc., is greatly appreciated!

The "crowning glory" was my visit to the "Cruzin for a Cure" in OC, CA, where SoCal HHR's had a display. Actually meeting several of you, and your gracious welcoming demeanor "sealed the deal"..

Yes--it's "just a car".. But a very special car!

I just can't stop with this new Red SS in my garage!! See or "talk" with you again soon!!

But Wait--what does that email say? From the Dealer? It's IN ???!!!

I never even thought notification would be via email in lieu of telephone--could it really be true??

Well--just look at this, and you will know it's true...

Angry Survived my first rock hit to the windshied.

Was driving to work and road crews were out doing band-aid patch work on the road I was on. A truck coming the other way kicked up a dime sized rock that got me right in front of my face. Not even 50 miles on the car! Lucky, no damage.
I have about a dozen or so pics in the gallery now for anybody interested.
Got a lot of oohs and aahs at work. A lot of possible future wanna-be HHR owners.
