Is an engine going to be part of the model?

That's really looking good. Obviously you are the more skilled modeller, plus I don't have much time to work on mine. Are you going to do the panel then? Looking forward to seeing this done.

Gregg, I'm going to fill the sunroof opening & rear door & quarter windows with thinner material, leaving a perfect template on the inside of body to trim to. So as cast, they'll be panels with no sunroof. As a builder orders one, I'll cut out the openings necessary to duplicate their own HHR.

More skilled? I wouldn't say that, I've been extra careful per YOUR advice, this material isn't as forgiving as styrene, seems like it's polypropolene or something...

This will be a curbside (no opening hood or engine). The chassis plate has lower engine detail, these FWD cars don't have attractive underhood presence like a V8 RWD car or truck does anyway!

The material is polystyrene. It is more flexible to take the occasional bumps and rough treatment a toy would need to survive.

Not since my last post...been working on the Jeep resin project getting it ready for the caster. Once that's in his hands, then I can resume work on the lil HHR
