I love the Picture. I am aloso from Pa, and when I parked mine in the back yard in the snow a new nickname for my car evolved. "The snowball"

Mine really worked great in the snow. We had some real heavy wet stuff earlier in the month and the HHR did very well.

Is that really your car, or is it a snow-car for a snow-family

You've just got to take it easy at times and you should be fine. Handled well on ice too...went right by a PT Cruiser on an icy hill and waved as I went tooling on by. I do have a 5 speed though, as I feel more comfortable with a manual transmission in the Colorado climate.

Forgot to add the picture from last year.

Is that a shovel laying against your car??? thats a no no!! you never know how your car may get scratched. I won't even use a snow brush on any of my cars. I just push most of the snow off with my hands and clear the lights off and deal with it. The thing that gets me most is when I see people cleaning their cars of with brooms... those scratches don't even buff out...

Yes...that is a snow shovel leaning against the car, however, the only thing it is touching is the window and it was just there long enough to take the picture. I use a snow brush all the time on my car and have not one scratch because of it either...kinda hard to get almost 3 feet of blowing and drifting snow off my HHR w/o one. I am very proud to say that my HHR looks just as good today as it did when I drove it off the lot. It has no dings, dents or scratches and I've had it nearly 2 years. It does help that my boyfriend is an auto detailer by trade with 30+ years experience too though for any imperfections we have seen along the way. Several members of this forum have seen "Smoke" up close and personal and can vouch for the fact that he is in perfect condition too.

Not to mention is that every day there is snow or it is cold out is 1 less day I could be on my CBR 600

I gotta get the hell out of here

Why not Minot or Grand Forks?

I'm in the Reserve now so I can really choose any warm weather base that will take 2T2's...but with only 8 years left until I am high year tenure I'll probably be here..the summers and falls here make up for it I guess...just barely though lol

Not even thinking of driving in tomorrows weather here, we're to have freezing rain tonight (which started earlier) mixed with snow. To get about 1/4 to an inch of ice on the roads then about 2 to 3 inches of snow on top.

Whoa! Just got dumped on and had to go to town. Plowed the roads on my way, the snow was deeper than the fog lights. Made it there and back on unplowed back roads without too many issues on stock 16's. Most of the highways were closed and we live in the boonies.
