I've got a 2.4, average 25.5-27 MPG driving back and forth to work 36 miles each way. I do notice it seems to like Texaco/Chevron Premium. Highway mileage is just over 30 MPG.

2.4 it is haha. I am curious about one other thing cause i found a 2008 with the 2.4 and the 2009 with a 2.4 that has flex fuel. Does flex fuel equipped HHRs run the same?

They are supposed to, they just have the option to run the E85.... On corn the engine makes adjustments.... On gasoline it's supposed to be the same as earlier models. Is it in a side by side "drag race"? Who knows.

Also note the 2009+ 2.2 got more power than the older 2.2 due to adding the vvt system from the 2.4, so difference in perforance isnt as much now.
And I wouldnt trade in your 2008 for a 2009, you will probably lose thousands of $$$ on it.
