Odds are, the prvious owner put SS badges on and passed it on to an idiot dealership that actually believed it was an SS, or they are just trying to make more calling it an SS themselves.

Keep in mind these could also be "curbsiders", which are shady dealers pretending to be private sellers. They could have done anything to the cars to make them seem more appealing, without any company to legally bind them to.

The white one, a normal 2LT...
Appears someone stuck 'SS' badges on the front arch of the front door.
Also, something funky about the rear. No 'LT' badge, but the 'HHR' badge has been moved front the left to the right side. Personal preference, or some schlock body shop job? I'd check over the back end thoroughly, myself.
