2006 HHR loose wire internal fuse box

for a couple of months I have noticed a free flowing wire in my internal fuse box. The other ones are grouped together this one is solo by itself it's red it's thick I don't know what it goes to it's driving me crazy.

Probably some after market stuff a previous owner installed. Where does the other end go?

Is it live? It’s dangerously close to that metal bracket and could short out.

That's not a standard Chevy connector.
Pretty big wire.
Check for power with a test light.

It not in this photo

Or this one. Follow it back to its source , and remove it, someone added in either audio or alarm or remote start at one time or other.

Have you fixed the water leak? I see rust where there should be none. 2006 needs a "butyl patch" fix.

Yup, looks like a wire to an aftermarket amp.

I am not sure if it's live some weird stuff has been happening since the panel to the fuse box disappeared
Sometimes I hear popping. I have isolated it I will dig dapper later. Ty

There are the relays you can see as well as a couple on the back side of the BCM.
