2006 HHR Plans

Any plans for Mod's in 2006? Things I would like to do would be:

1) New Tires/Rims
2) Redo car interior (sound system/custom interior)
3) Two-Tone Car

Finaly put my speakers in and vinyl on! What ever else the future of aftermarket HHR parts brings along that may catch my eye. Rims maybe?

Suspension - shocks, maybe springs
Dual exhaust -would be nice, sure my muffler guy back home could cook something up
Roof Antennas- paint the satellite/OnStar one, paint base on radio, chrome stubby
Bumper grill- gotta put something in there. I've ordered a Carraige Works grill, may end up painting it to match the car. If I could just get my hands on a nice chrome hood one
Radio - convert the system over to SIRIUS
Dome light- gotta wire the whole set in as one
Cargo area- really needs some carpeting on the back of the seats-things slide

Mods

If your HHR is still under factory warranty and you want to be able to use it you need to watch on what mods you do the the car. The new cars and trucks comming from GM are ALOT different than those of old and some mods may interfere with the operating systems on the car, and that will VOID your warranty. Think of your new car as a computer some parts are connected to the mainframe ie the PCM and it will need to be re-flashed after some mods or even replacement parts are installed. As a fellow customizer I understand anybody's want to make their car their own, but dont throw away your warranty to do it.

Yeah, gotta watch the warranty stuff. Some dealers tho are pretty cool. I had a VW GTI and the dealer here in Murfreesoboro GAVE me the kit to hook up the turbo boost meter. I like most people had rigged it (which worked great), but VW had a kit they used when people wanted to put a boost guage on.
However, some dealers are butts.

Unless you really fuk something up, you won't void your warranty.
