I thought it might be interesting to hear the experiences of the 2007 owners as they come on board, comparing the issues we 2006 owners have experienced and whether they exist or have been addressed in 2007.

Might be nice to do this as a question and answer kind of thread. A 2006 owner asks a question and an 2007 owner answers.

I admit this is a bit lame now since we do not have many 2007 owners yet and those we do, have not had their vehicles for long. But maybe in a few months someone can bump this up or start a new thread and we can get some info flow on the go.

So any thoughts, first off, on the idea? If it is stupid, I'll delete the post. If it has merit, lets hear it....

 

I think it would be interesting to hear what the 07 owners have to say. One thing they will not say is "I like how they changed the inside" we all know nothing like that happend.

 

But is that true? I thought they added an outlet cover if you did not get a cigarette lighter...

 

My rental has one it is an 06 LS. I got ripped off on the smokers package $15 for a cup at least give me a real ashtry for my change I smoke but not in the cars.

 

The smokers option is very snazzy for $15. You get a ciggarette coil that looks and feels cheap. Last but not least you get a CUP of all things that takes up space in a cup holder. So when two people are sitting up front in the HHR with beverages, you have to reach around and flick the ash in the back cupholder!? Kinda Lame. Then again I dont smoke in both vehicles.

 

I think this is a neat idea for a thread but, not sure if enough 07's are on the forum to be valid.

 

GM really didn't change anything of significance for 2007, so I think this thread should be put on hold until 2008.

We are liable to see some decent changes by then!

Can't figure out how to add that to the poll. I know there are no major changes but it would be nice to see if a lot of the TSB type stuff or other more commonly reported issues, still exist in the 2007s. That was my line of thinking mostly.

 

I think we are going to need some graphic/text that helps identify which year we own. I know most of us have 06's. But there is a few on her who have an 07.
