Mabye it's jsut me but somthing doesn't seem right with this. If you look at the under the hood pic it's very dusty, and the the windshiled base is very dirty. And why would a Special Edition be so difficult to sell? Also the seller has 0 feedback on 0 sales. It may be fine, but somthing just smells a bit fishy to me.

Makes sense to me. Its been sitting around since last March when all the SE's were made. I'm amazed at how many 06's are still on the lots. I am surprised there are many/any SE's left since so few were made.

Keep in mind this has the 2.2, is a manual and doesn't have the premium stereo. Cloth seats too. This would be the base model of the SE!

After looking at all of the details, it's actually priced too high IMO.

I'm guessing this might be the first car the dealer has tried selling on ebay, there is a link for the dealer website. I guess they are getting desperate to move it.

You're right about the auto, didn't notice it in the pics and in the listing desription it said
***MECHANICAL***
  • 2.2L DOHC 4CYL ENGINE
  • GETRAG 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANS
  • SPEED SENSITIVE STEERING
  • TOURING SUSPENSION
NEW you could have gotten this for 18k, I paid 20k for mine and it has all this one is missing. Plus its been sitting on a lot for almost a year now; 2007's have been out for a couple months now. All SE's were made in March 2006. I just cant see paying that for a year old "new" base model.

Ahhhhhh...yet you still havent answered the question. Just from a curious mind. If you didnt have yours..and NO TIME MACHINE to go back and buy htis one a year ago...for $16k...RIGHT NOW...what BRAND NEW car would you buy? IMHO...its a lot of car for the outlay of cash at this very second. Dont care about anythin other than dollars and cents..and for the benjamins..this is a lot of ride that is really cool and limited edition to boot. Soooooo......whats the answer GD...what car would you buy?
