The pic jeff posted is a 2006, but the one in the OPs link is a 2007. Two different cars.

From the above link...........

Except for the missing engine, what is different? Like I said, something is fishy.

Sorry, but no matter what the posted VIN says, they are the same car. It's not like people haven't given wrong VINs before. Could just be a mistake on their site. In the bottom pic, sorry about the size, near the top/center of the pic, you can see the lighted Year One logo in two places.

Look at these pics and tell me it's not the same car..........http://images.search.yahoo.com/searc...f-8&n=21&x=wrt

It's the same HHR...someone probably swapped out VIN plates so they could legally title it...not a good practice!

That's probably why they parted out the Unique Performance V8 HHR...

I agree, same HHR.

Watching that TV build-off is what primarily got me interested in HHRs'.

If anyone swapped the VIN's it was GM. Because it was basically handed BACK to GM shortly after being built. It made a few rides on the power tour and GM told YearOne to stop driving it. It has been with GM ever since. Believe me, I would know. That HHR hasnt left GM's hands since shortly after the midway of the power tour.

Yes you guys are right those are the same pictures. Either the posted VIN is wrong, they cloned year one exactly or (as already posted) the VIN plate was changed.

Maybe he was the buyer at the auction.
