Question Buying HHR

"Looks like Mid July I should be cruzin in style in my new HHR...." That's only 2-3 weeks.

I ordered one on May 5th, my sales rep said, "Don't hold yer breath." Looks like it may even be a '10 model now.

What did you get as a 'delivery date'???

He is probably talking about buying one off the lot. That is what I did cuz I had to take delivery to get my $2500 cash back. Would have liked to order it but heck I would have got the samething minus the roof racks. oh well

If you are planning on taking advantage of the clunker bill, you should wait until the plans are finalized by the government. The rules have to be complete by August 1st. And don't be surprised if the rebates are pulled if you use the clunker bill. Your dealer has to sign up with the program to use it.

There are going to be a lot of things that have to match up on getting help from the clunker bill. Things like the mileage has to be so many more MPG over the cluncker you turn in. etc.

Many people do not think many deals will qualify unless you go to a hybird car or a very small car while trading in a pick up or something big.

Best to see the final details.
